Untitled (But where can I buy this?)

Serie of 11 unique copies, Amazon Dash, 2017

Dash Button is a small battery-powered device about the size of a pack of gum. Press the button and the device uses Wi-Fi to instantly order items you have pre-selected from Amazon.[1]

Online shopping is the digitalization of shopping, the dash button is the analogisation of online shopping.

You're surfing through the endless stream of your instagram account, your thumb stops, you look at a picture you really think it is a good one. Your thumb pushes the heart button and types the comment:"Need!" or "Where can I buy it?" instead of "Woaaah, it's cool!" (Because you have to set the displayed image into relation to yourself, to your own physical body in a merely abstract image based surrounding. (And if you own something it is mostly close to your body.)) Did you realize that the Internet changed from an utopistic information network to the biggest online shop and the finest selfmarketing place?

Funfact: For the first time in history you can buy a former "amazon product" via paypal!
